Clamour for Second Term to Raghuram Rajan as SBI Chairmen of RBI

The term of the RBI Chairmen Mr. Raghuram Rajan ends with September 2016. However, already his supporters are calling for an extension of his tenure with one more term. All this sounds very familiar is it not? I mean Manmohan Singh(MMS) version 2 in making. I am not an economist or any supporter of Rajan. In fact, I feel all the UPA appointees are guilty unless proved otherwise.

The media hero worshiping of Rajan and efforts to create a new savior of dirty Indians rings all the familiar tones from the times of MMS and nothing else.

This usual clamour for a US Green card holder is regular feel to it.   In the case of MMS entire credit of reforms were given to him and nothing to Sri P.V. Narasimha Rao the PM at that time. The reason for ignoring Narasimha Rao is well known. Similarly, entire credit of the lowering inflation entirely attributed to Rajan completely ignoring the role of Indian Government which has strictly followed financial prudence and made many structural reforms and tried to rain in the prices of food commodities, etc. This time, also the reasons for ignoring Sri Modi are well known.

Let us examine RBI role as a regulator of Banks under him. Any reasonable person would have seen NPA problem 3 to 4 years ago. He neither said anything about it until recently nor done anything to stop further accumulation of NPA till date. Ignoring RBI guidelines are very frequently. Huge levels of NPA show how pathetic the RBI’s annual financial inspections of banks are during his tenure. Entire appraisal and lending process have gone to a toss for the last several years. RBI did nothing. As almost every one in the banking sector knows about it and one can be sure that Mr. Rajan also knows it.  Thing happened. He seems to be busy making statements like the one-eyed person is a king in the land of the blind. This arrogance is being potrayed as truth by enlish media which do not want to give any credit to present NDA government for saving the nation from the abyss of UPA times.  

What major reforms we have seen in the functioning of RBI in the recently? None. Yes, he has given licenses for three more banks. Any reasonable person in the free enterprise would have removed this entire licensing drama altogether. Now we hear that he is trying to do something called “on tap” thing as per media reports. Anyone who can look into Indian banking sector knows that we are one of the most under-banked nation in the world. He merely continued the same license, permit, quota raj of old times.  He talked a lot about Payment Banks etc. and what happened on the ground? Nothing.  It is the Prime Ministers personal interested which saw a huge number of accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana and brought large sections of poor people under banking. This can be termed as one the most significant events in Indian Banking sector since nationalisation, and the role of RBI in this is NIL.

There is also no significant change in the functioning of RBI. For all major announcements and publicity given for initiatives like whistleblower mechanism, no one even reports any irregularities to RBI out of fear as those who reported lost their jobs and even when written to Rajan personally, he did nothing.

The truth is Mr. Rajan like many others before he acted as a glorified babu.Let us not make too much of his contributions and achivements as RBI Chairmen.

Worldwide political correctness is a path for destruction

I heard the address of the U.S. President Obama speaking from the White House on the terror attack on San Bernardino. The headlines in the Washington Post said that it reflects a struggle to be heard. Ironic, is it not? This is a person who won two presidential elections mainly by out talking his opponents.  Just for his elocution skills, he got a Nobel Peace prize. If this happens to him then, there is something seriously wrong with the message itself.

He, just like many other politicians and opinion makers, is not willing to seriously discuss the issue of terror arising out of Islamic religious thought. Terrorists are time and again claiming that they are following Islam.  The larger Muslim community is saying at least in public theirs is a religion of peace and does not preach violence. Then why some Muslims are indulging in serious terror and claim that they are following Islam. Many of the terrorists come from well-to-do families. Victims of terror personally did nothing to deserve this from the terrorists. So there are no personal reasons for these heinous crimes. Terrorists are just indulging in random killings of innocent people because of their religion or national identity. These people are either mad or have a  strong reason for doing such things.

We all know that Islam and Christian religions were horribly violent for a long time. This violence resulted in destroyed many ancient religions and great civilizations. Such long and offensive conduct shows there is no central of peaceful behavior or tolerant conduct in these two religions.

However, many Christian-majority nations are now secular democracies.  Most of them even profess multiculturalism. As a result, Christianity lost most of its violent nature. At least, for now.  Islam, on the other hand, has not reformed with the passage of time. On the contrary, it became more conservative in nature with many schools like Wahabis now influencing religious thought more and more.  Almost all Islamic nation states are not secular and not democracies. Muslims, as people, also are mostly peaceful in nature.  However, Islamic ideology in remains to be violent. There are several passages in Quran, which support, incite and justify violence on non-Muslims. The conduct of Mohammad, the best person among men according to Islam, is also violent. Muslims are required to emulate him. It is, therefore, difficult for Muslims to denounce these fundamental tenants of Islam. The social structure of most of the Islamic societies is feudal or tribal in nature. Religious dissent or reform is not possible in such societies. Hence, it may take a long time for Muslims to reform. Meanwhile, the attacks on non-Muslims and the Jihad will continue.  Political leaders and other opinion makers world over are not ready to admit this problem.  According to them, Islam is a peaceful religion and terrorist are just confused people. The entire history of Islam shows otherwise. No major reform in Islamic thought suggests that it changed its nature in any significant way. In fact, the Wahabis want to make it more literal, more repressive and violent. This movement now called a Wahabi School receives huge funds from donations. There are thousands of madrasas teaching this ideology world over. Most of the present set of terrorists come from this school. However, we cannot blame every terror attack or violent action done by followers of Islam in this school alone. Wahabis do not do genocide in Armenia, Bangladesh, etc. The people with same ideas did these things. Wahabis may be a school of thought. However, they seem to be saying nothing new to Islam. Wahabis are not proposing any new interpretation or ideas on fundamental Islamic doctrine.

It is here opinion makers around the world need to play a role. It shall point out the problems in Islam to Muslims and urge them to change. Now they are not doing it. For that, it shall admit the part violence plays in the Islamic ideology. They are failing in their duty by denying the existence of this the problem itself.  To say that Islam is peaceful, and the terrorists are misguided is politically correct to do. It would be suicidal to say otherwise. However, slowly the non-Muslims are seeing the violent reality of Islam with their own eyes. Unless the political leaderships accept the fact in public, they will be swept away in the public anger.  The Nationalist Party of France got about 30% votes polled in the provisional elections held recently. It emerged as the biggest party in 6 out of 13 regions of France. Donald Trump is now leading the pack for the Republican Presidential nomination. There is tremendous opposition in US and Europe on their governments’ steps in allowing Syrian refugees into their countries. The political leadership around the world shall at least now recognize that image of Islam suffers seriously as some of its followers involvement in terror. How can they say Islam is peaceful when your people are seeing Islamic beheadings on their Televisions day after day?  Soon people stop believing their leaders, just like they stopped accept as truth in many others things these leaders say. It is required to confront Islam ideologically to stop the terror emulating from it.  It is impossible to wage an ideological struggle with Islam without stopping these lies.

In India alone, over 800 years long Jihad killed an estimated 120 million people, mainly Hindus.  With such background, it is hard to convince Hindus of the supposed peaceful nature of Islam. The Genocide on Kashmiri Pundits and the violence during partition along with many other riots etc. mostly initiated by violent Muslim mobs since independence show that almost nothing changed in Islam from the medieval period.

It is time for people to look seriously at the ideas that are fundamental to Islam. Self-delusions and political correctness will only lead to destruction.

Parasites joining gharwapasi club to damage the nation.

For the last few weeks the media in India and now around the world is full of reports about writers returning their Sahithya Academy awards, film makers returning film awards and even an odd scientist returning their Padma award. We have discredited historians whose Marxist ideological moorings are well known even taking protests for the first time in the history. The reasons all these people publicly claim are varied from, killing of three rationalists two of whom killed before the present government even came to power, allegations of attack on “Idea of India”, intolerance on dissent with killing of muslim man by some people in UP state alleged for having killed a cow. There is also a bizarre allegation that they present government lack scientific temperament. This set of people whom we can now call as award wapasi club are all over television news channels and press making all kinds of allegations many of which very hard to believe. People are invited on Television Channels daily basis to vent their feels about how the “Idea of India” is under attack, how there is great intolerance towards dissent under present government and how Modi is acting like a fascist and so on. At least one of them went as far as visiting Toranto, Canada to attend event on this. The others like political leaders who hate for the PM and his party is well known join this orgy of allegations and there is almost no let off. The reasons given are varied from day to day and the set of people doing the so called protects are also changing from day to day. A large synchronized drama is being conducted by bring the varied set of people who have their own reasons to hate the present government.

On the other side the government ministers allege that the entire thing was created in a concerted effort to attack for political motives.

The question is the truth of all these allegations. We have on ground Bihar State Elections being conducted in a independent constitutional authority amidst all this. We have the PM and his political opponents fight it out had in these elections. This alone shows that our nation is and continue to be a thriving constitutional democracy. This is not possible if the PM is a despot and the nation is turned into an evil dictatorship as being alleged by this award wapasi club.

On the freedom of expression side, apart from this club, the political opponents of the PM continue to abuse him as before without any fear. TV news and other mainstream news outlets give prominence to all these abuses regularly without any fear from the PM and his government. Can this be a picture of a despotic dictator and the nation which is suffering immensely under his evil rule? How can the very people who appear on Television day after day, abuse the PM in most uncivilised manner  logically state that there is no scope for dissent in the nation or can say the scope for descent is shrinking is beyond anyone. 

The attacks are only aimed personally towards the Prime Minister Mr. Modi and his party. Nothing is made against the UP state government under whose watch the a Muslim was killed allegedly for killing cow and which is responsible for law and order in their state. They are not aimed at all against the Congress party under which   watch two of the three rationalists killed. While there is no serious allegations made by police that any of the people from the Prime Ministers political pasrty or people who are having the same ideology of the said party did any of the these heinous acts. Furthermore two of the three rationalists were murdered before this government even came into power. Yet somehow these people feel that this government which has no role in law and orders area and which is not even in power at that time is responsible to answer to the wild allegations made by them.

It is not that all the people who are doing this award wapasi drama themselves are clean themselves. To illustrate like Mrs. Nayanatara Saighal who got her award from Rajiv Gandhi, to whom she is fact an aunt, in 1986 just two years after massive killings of Sikhs literally presided over him in 1984, accepted the position in a major science institute with a week after emergency is lifed by Indira Gandhi. Of others there are people who lost funding from foreign donors to their NGOs, there are people who attacked Mr Modi for over a decades and rewarded by the earliest government for the same. There are people who actually canvassed against Mr Modi in the last election and even before that. Many of the same people signed petitions and made statements asking people not to vote for him. Mr. Bhargawa the aged scientist who returned his Padma award never protested when Sri Nabi Narayanan a highly reputed scientist was arrested in 1994 on flimsy grounds and kept in prison and treated inhumanly for 4 years only to be found that all the charges were false and created to sabotage the nations cryogenic engine programme. He and his kind never raised no voice when 11 scientists working in nuclear feild found dead in the last few years and no explanation was given till date why they died and if they were killed in a deliberate manner for the obvious reason of damaging our nuclear programme.    

These people have no problems with many evils taking place in our nation for decades like ethnic cleansing of Hindus in Kashmir, massacre of Sikhs by Congress leaders who later became cabinet ministers of India, Emergency rule and the countless riots and atrocities under the dark decades of Congress misrule. In fact people like Mr. Bhargawa were part of the agitation against the Kudakulam Nuclear power plant being built with the Russian help. The then Prime Minister who is famous for not speaking at all had to came out and say in public that it an anti-national agitation funded from abroad. When the writers who never objected book banning till date, historians who never asked for things like declassification of Netaji files suddenly start agitations etc people are bound to wonder if their pathological hatred for the PM and his party is the only reason for them to do so and the entire drama is politically motivated.

Further the present government made significant changed how the government is run. The elites  of Delhi establishment and cabals like NACs no longer lord over the nation and elected leadership. Gravy train schemes like Aman ki asha are no longer available to many. No wining and dining with top political leadership, no freedom to sabotage the national economic activity with the funds received from abroad, no free trips to various western nations at public cost and most painfully  no dalali opportunities to pimps from media, NGOs and other organisations. This naturally created heartburn to a large pool of people who are well known in media who can attack the government on one reason or another and create a media skeptical.

The elites now fear that the nation may look for different answers to its long pending and serious problems on its own through its elected representatives without running seek guidance from their great “thinkers” in the Nehruvian establishment that kept the people and the nation poor. When the head of the government is a person who is not a graduate from Oxford or Cambridge or even from Harvard or Yale for that matter, who is different almost in every aspect to these elitists and who is not one of them and will never be one of them and will start ignoring them all together, it is but natural for their brown sahebs and memsabs to get angry and feel.  Most importantly their divine right of deciding what Kosher is gone and hopefully gone forever. They are now being ridiculed day after day in social media which is merciless in pointing out their lies and frauds. The permanence irrelevance is staring at their face now. It is but natural for them to hate him personally.

There are also people and forces outside India which do not want to India to develop. The agitations like one against Kudakulam nuclear power plant were created for this purpose. The present government had by and large controlled the NGO funded activities in this regard. Activities of media needs a closer look.

These activities just received a boost with a report that   Moody rating agency had advised the PM to rein in the BJP numbers or lose credibility. As per the people who read the report there is no such thing and these news reports are manufactured by media. However with this the entire drama is no longer sound like some political play by disgruntled people who lost the elections a year and half back. It is now slowly turning into a fresh attempt to sabotage the economic development of our nation and destabilize the elected government by extra-constitutional means, a color revolution 2.0 modified and fine tuned for Indian conditions. An effective counter narrative is needed to be put out immediately to counter this.  

Media inventions in aew and old ways of attacking Sanathana Drama

Now the reservation provision now considered as a irrevocable proof of "caste oppression" in India. While there is some serious injustices in respect of Panchamas like SC and STs, the Shudhras were not repressed as contended. Now every on starting from all the parties to Supreme Court says that Shudhras were also oppressed for thousands of years which is a blatant lie.  The fact that caste based injustice in education and social life were not there in respect of most of the communities which are Shudhras, can not even be contended due to serious vote bank risk which no party can take now. The very fact that Shudhras were rulers in most of India being kings etc is ignored. The entire narrative is the like a AIT of 20th and 21st Century.

It shall be noted that the caste based reservations are not available anyone other than SC and ST.  The so called OBCs can only be given reservations as socially and educationally backward "class" wherein caste can only be one of the many parameters to be considered. But the other parameters are simply ignored in practice and this gives scope for allegations of misuse of reservations. While there can be no objection for reservations for people who are really backward, allowing the same to be tool for caste mobilizations is very bad.

In respect of Killing of so called rationalists, let us not jump the gun. We do not know why and how the person was killed. There is no proof against anyone and no clear evidence about the motive. So how do we know that some hot head Hindu involved in that? Three murders in three years can be related or not related to any ideological reasons. It may even be done to defame present rulers at Delhi namely BJP. This in any event one more thing to attack Hindus.

Ban on cow slaughter r is there in J&K since 1800s and the law is nothing new. The ban of sale of beet judging Jain festivals in there in Mumbai for a long time. There are similar laws in many state made under various political parties including congress party and once again BJP and Hindus are now being accused of being fascists etc.

So the old and new ways are all mixed now and new heros like that Patel fellow from Gujarat are being created by Media now. 

Lack of discussion on issues in Bihar Elections.

For long Congress party gave us great programmes to uplift masses from object poverty and usher in a Utopian society. While Utopian society exists only in dreams, even the basic needs of our people are still a distant dream for most of our people. It is not impossible for us to provide these minimum things for our people. Nations which were once poor did and can become rich and people can be lifted from poverty. But while we watch nations poor nations in the South East Asia, which long suffered under colonial rule, others like Japan, Germany, South Korea all of which left in ruin in terrible wars, now raise from ashes and command their rightful places in the world and their people live much more comfortable life, our people continue to suffer. The Congress party and its leadership is clearly failed in providing what they time and again promised.

It is not that we were poor all along in our history. On the contrary, we were the richest nation in the history of the world and along with China. We were, in fact, the biggest producers, exporters and wealth creators in the history. Yet today after all these years since founding of our republic we are still not taken its rightful place. The long back established ruling elite of Congress party and its cronies in Delhi and their present day ideological (and family) successors and surrogates are responsible in biggest failure in the history of the world of governance.  Yet there is no talk of accountability or responsibilities. True, they lost few elections from time to time. But even after their loss, they always manage to dodge the question of their failure to develop our nation. Even when they fail to get 10% of the total seats in Lok Sabha they do not acknowledge their failures and mistakes. One of the principles reason for that is the fear of questioning of course is the need to protect the principle family of the party. Even under the most humiliating defeat they cannot question or face the reality and left to defend the indefensible.  

The media and other opinion makers with a few exceptions always supported the Congress Family.  The staggering level of misinformation and suppression of information can be imagined by the fact that Congress leaders could slaughter thousands on the streets of Delhi in 1984 and it failed to generate even a single question to the then Prime Minister of that time under whose watch it took place. Not even once for 5 years while he ruled or till 1991 when he died. In any other nation after a national humiliation like war with China in 1962, the Prime Minister could have been sacked by this own party. Yet instead we hear pathetic excuses. Even now it is as if many of these things have not taken place at all.  The complicity of silence and shameless lies is not just limited to media  but extended to the called intellectual class. Even the Supreme Court, which for the last few decades became quite active, failed to take any action on the horrible evil deed done in Delhi in 1984.  

Now the same tragic game of deceit and suppression of trust and evasion of responsibility is being played out in the coming Bihar elections.  Media already following the lead of Sonia as it always does. While these are early days and election notice is yet to be received, we can be certain that this narrative is not going to change.  Congress, Lalu and Nitish in between ruled Bihar state most of the time. Still the have no achievements which they can highlight in this elections.

While Nitish Kumar wishes to claim the development plank, he cannot do overtly while fighting his long term allies BJP. Not while  Lalu is his ally. There is neither acknowledgement of jungle raj of Lalu and nor any promise not to repeat the past misdeeds. Of course, we hear all about DNA, Insult to Bihar etc from him, corporate looting of poor farmers etc from Sonia, secularism etc from Lalu. They all of course claim that Central Government shall give special status for Bihar.  There is not going to be any talk of malnutrition of Children in Bihar just like there was about children of Gujarat not so long back. Naturally we will hear lot of humor from Lalu. To copy a Sanskrit saying – rest will be filled with Secularism and caste politics.

Hanging Memon -

The news of impeding hanging of the terrorist Memom brought forward the terror lovers brigade in India with their regular arguments. Arguments range from that person being a actually innocent to his crimes do the warrant death sentence. Various ideas like death sentence is being bad one to fresh hearing is needed are all being floated around.
People like Owaisi – the neo Razakar congress ally from Hyderabad had implied that he is innocent and being hanged for being Muslim. A large section of the “secular” class are all trying actively to ensure the life of this terrorist is saved.
I am not going to post on the evidence which was already examined by the judiciary right up to Supreme Court of India. It is already done deal. Yet the terror lovers are not ready to accept the decision.

It is just like Narmada Wachvo Andolan which used the orders of the Supreme Court for many years to campaign that its cause is just because the Supreme Court has supported it. The moment Supreme Court has stopped supporting the Medha Patkar gang, she and her friend Arundathi Rai started making wild statements which amounted to Contemt of Court.

Same happened with the Teestha also.  As long as the judiciary passed orders against the present Prime Minister she was happy and Judiciary is saviour of life on earth and only next to god. The moment  the courts started refusing bail to her when she faced allegations of wining and dining on the money collected for riot victims welfare and for so called museums etc, the court orders amount to political vendetta.
The so called secular liberal fringes in our nation are in reality Islamic loving, Hindu hating, maoists jihadists. The same is true in many societies in Western Europe and even US.  Fortunately the hanging process may take some time with minor delays but the end is apparently inevitable. The handing will ensure a minor closure.
 

Amathya Sen - Parasites on peoples money.

Amathya Sen was all over the English TV channels of India ( no one else listen to him anyway so why go to some Hindi or Bengali Chanel) yesterday critical of our PM - indirectly of course, as he lack moral courage in the first place, accusing the P.M. of interference into Nalanda University and not wanting him to continue a second term as Chancellor of the said University.  According to him such political interference should not be there. 

Firstly he is 81 years of age. Does any one want such aged person to have a post like this? Further is he in India in the first place to do the work ? We all know the answer. When his term already ended, why a second term is to be given to him? Did he done anything great? I do not know. 

In respect of the politicization etc, when Sen has attacked the PM aggressively just before the elections and with a clear political reason can he claim any innocence? He never attack the UPA for its rampant looting by UPA and the criminal political leaders of UPA. He clearly shown himself as a chamcha of Sonia Manio. 

He has not contribution to India and now lives in US. He do not even live in India. I do not know under what right he can claim to eat of the Indian public money. He can not claim a right to live of the peoples money perceptually. 

People like Amathya Sen are living like a parasite on India people. The sooner we kick them about of free meals the better. 

What is the message BJP want to send to India on its J&K alliance efforts.

Since the assembly elections BJP is trying to form a Government with PDP and negotiations are on for the last few weeks. The very fact the negotiations are not concluded for many weeks with no end in sight is an clear indication of the differences between the two. After the Delhi results, PDP said to have hardened their position.

Now there are news items,which I do not believe in the first place,  that PDP wish BJP to drop its demand for the removal of Art 370 of the Indian Constitution and also AFSPA to be lifted from selected areas of J&K. 

BJP so far neither denied now confirmed these reports. Like many of the earlier actions BJP is allowing the press to spared rumors around. This continuous rumors are all creating a feeling among the core BJP supporters that BJP is once again betraying its core voters and its core ideology, just like Atal Bihari Vajpeyee did earlier. 

I fails to understand the compulsion of the BJP to join the Government in Srinagar. BJP was voted into power for many reasons and one of the important reasons is its Idiology. If BJP does not stick to the same then we can only see repeat of what has happened to it in 2004. 

I do hope good sense prevails in BJP leadership and they walk away from the PDP.

The so called opinion makers in India be it from English Media or from other useless "jholawala", "Intellectual" areas have a pathological hatred toward NM and they will never change. 

Grand Jury (GJ) hearing of M.Brown killing by a Police Officer (PO) and C.Martin Killing by Zimarman (Z) trial earlier.

I must confess that I have never been to US and hardly have any personal contact with Gora and Kaala people. But in the MB case, there was a grand jury proceedings and conflicting accounts of the incidence were heard by GJ in the proceedings. So they decided not to prosecute the Police Officer. There are 12 people in the GJ and 3 of them are black. My understanding was GJ is only a preliminary proceeds and decide if a crime was committed and there is some reasonable evidence to prosecute. Just like a Charge Sheet I think. Since my knowledge of Khan legal system comes from Perry Mason novels of last century I may be wrong.

In the case of MB a death has occurred and there seems to be some evidence of attack on the police officer. Now is the Police Officer needed to shoot at MB to defend himself or not is the question. From what I read there are conflicting accounts of the alleged charging of MB. If there is some evidence to suggest that MB indeed charged towards PO then it would be difficult case to prosecute. Particularly in US where there is a Jury System.  That coupled with any previous criminal record MB may have and the alleged theft taken place around that time by a Black Man in a white tea shirt etc will make it further difficult case to convict.

In the case of C.Martin there is evidence of physical injuries on the body of Z, the neighborhood watch person. There is no record of Z being a racist. At least not I have read. I may be wrong here. At least the killer is not a cop so it can not be some cop prejudice case. Yet we are discussing it as such. Further Z was called a person who followed a boy to his home and killed him. All the body injuries of Z were forgotten. CM as per my reading was giving mixed marshal art blows to Z and Z was on the ground and MC was above him. Is this the case to try for First Degree Murder? I do not think so. Manslaughter case would have been proper one at best and would have even succeeded. But over active Prosecutor egged on by Liberals and OB gang from DC tried the case for Murder and lost the case.

The past conduct of the victims in such cases will be taken into consideration in any such case to hypothesize on what really happened.  Further apparently almost every one accepted  that MB attacked the PO who was sitting in the police car may have to be  taken as indicative of the things happened after that.

From what I read Blacks in US seems to be fully dehumanized. Almost all their families are single parent families with fathers being absent in many cases. Many are very poor. Further there is no out reach from anyone to do something about the black social structure and economic condition. The culture of violence also seems to be a very big problem and Liberals are not doing anything about it. How a single parent family with very poor background and living in a already violent areas can manage to raise the kids properly is beyond me. While there is great need for a sustained effort to bring the black community out of this cycle of poverty, social weakness and violence the liberal narrative of slavery etc does not help. We are also children of slaves. Many parts of the world are like that. A strong and sustained effort is needed to bring the entire community out of the present abyss. I see no indication of any such thing being made. Somehow I feel that the Libarals in US are on a slavery gravy train and do not really case to help black community.

As the caveat I have mentioned above I am only a writing from what I read. I may be terribly wrong here. 

Siva Sena (SS) has created a story that BJP has betrayed  them. The core voter and Manus people seems to have believed that. Votes in Mumbai City region go based on the feudal type relationships maintained by SS and others. Same in the Maratwada areas for NCP. Sugar Lobby, Co Operative Banks etc networks work better in any Assembly elections. But this time at least Mafia lost the elections in their mind already. All the people wanted is to stop BJP from winning. That is why all out attack on BJP this time from every other party.

BJP by their own high standard not did great work to "manage" elections in MH. “Putting cheppal on the ground” (my words and I am claims rights on them) is a must at every polling booth if you want to win the elections. Particularly in Assembly elections. From what I have seen BJP has not managed to do that. BJP is both the states have contested seriously for the first time. So they can be excused for not so good attempt. But politics are hard things and no excuse is acceptable and results I hope will not be bad for it

As for as results goes "Management" of Election Day makes the difference in a close vote situation, up to a maximum of about 5% votes can be “managed”. Diggi Raja did it in MP for his second win. The extent Diggi went was unimaginable. I have seen SS arranging for Taxis for people to vote and NCP distributing cash openly in front of Polling Booths in Mumbai. But for BJP hardly any one is there to be seen. This is not good sign. On the other hand SS thinks with their Ba@@s and what every they arrange will not work if they do not think properly and plan the things. BJP is very good at that and SS, NCP and Congress Mafia are not.

In spite of the active “management” of others if BJP gets into Wining or No.1 position in both states then it is a seriously big achievement for them. In either case BJP will learn its lessons from these two elections and will change its strategy for future state elections. Already there is a talk from my UP friends that Behanji will win in UP this time.  That kind of possibility needs to be stopped at any cost. Otherwise UP can not be saved soon. 

Stopping peoples migration form villages to towns:

A comprehensive plan is needed for stopping this migration which is due to econocial, social and aspirational reasons.  

1.      Connectivity: Good road network to connect each village to nearby semi urban centre for travel and to send goods is needed for creating and sustaining economic activity in villages. Public transportation like RTC Buses to each village is a must.

2.      Encouraging Cultivation:  Almost all the villages have surplus land belonging to Panchayath. Further many villages have lands left uncultivated by the owners for various reasons. One of the main reasons is the fear of giving it for rent cultivation or for share cropping purpose. Legislative changes providing some scope for short term renting of agricultural lands will be helpful for everyone as it frees vast amount of agricultural land, increase agricultural production and will create jobs in Villages.  

3.      Vegetable Cultivation: Vegetable cultivation needs maximum amount of labour. Huge demand for vegetables is already there and it will only increase as the economy progresses. Hence create a scheme under which both panchayath lands and the private lands which are not being cultivated can be brought under cultivation with either Panchayath or some self-help society as the tenant for a limited period. This will create huge job opportunities.

4.      Fertilizer making:  Manure, gobur, agri-watage and items can be made in to organic fertilizers. It will be an import substitute and has scope for creating large amount of employment. 

5.      Manufacture of items: Each village has to be made self sufficient on all manufacturing items which are low tech in making. Things like agricultural tools, house hold articles, process foods like pickles, food processing activities etc all can be done with low tech base at the villages.

6.      Capital investment and Asset Creation: Ground water recharge structure, Drinking water facilities, micro village level irrigation works, drainage etc works, Housing facilities for poor can be made.  No further or extra money needed to be spent here. MANDREGA amounts can be spent properly and other schemes are implemented properly.

7.      Education and Medical facilities: Lack of medical and education facilities is also one of the reasons for migration apart from livelihood. Provide them within 10 to 15 KM of each village.

Problems of Telugu States - Fee reimbursement scheme - Tragic fate of Telugu youth.

The current problems of Telugu people are basically created as a part of a larger game plan of goras. MQ actions in dividing AP defies normal logic but has a perfect reason. The aim is to give ruling power entire South to Church and create a huge base for anti Indic like naxals, MIM/EJ forces in AP. As of now in AP Jagan is the leader of opposition and was expected to win till NM and CBN joined together and defeated him. EJ population is less but increasing rapidly in AP with Reddy community fast becoming Crepto Christians - Just like YSR. KKR the last CM of undivided AP was also a Christian. As of now there is a strong foundation in AP for EJ activities to continue. In T, MIM is already part of power structure under TRS. The old structure of Razakars and Doras acting jointly is almost come back. Naxals are yet to comeback in a bigway, but since most of their supporters are already in power structure in T the armed sections of Naxals will be soon active in T. Unfortunately there is a large section in T with have serious simpathetic view about naxals and police in T will not be taking any actions of naxal action in T. We can expect huge collection base in Hyderabad from Naxals also.

As of now destruction of Indic civilization in Telugu lands is truly underway. I do not consider anyone who demolish Sri Krishnadavaraya's statue as an Indic and BJP, INC, TRS and naxals fellows in AP area all not Indics. TDP is totally principle less gang and only reason to support them to lack of options and they are the only force now standing between Jagan and power.

The serious Robinhood politics of YSR/MQ are eating into the vitals of the economy of Telugu lands and all the parties are now forced to follow it. CBN and TRS promised huge handouts to people and going to end up creating a begger state similar to Greece in EU. There is absolutely no monitory discipline in Telugu states since 2004 and the same trend is going to continue.

In respect of “local” and “non local” the provisions of 371D and other normal practices can be adopted. But it seems TRS is going to created a modern version of “racial purity” by which Telengana “natives” are identified. All kinds of principles are being said. Such unscientific classifications are very difficult to defend in the court of law. But who is going to tell that to KCR and his party people?  

Coming to fee reimbursement scheme for Engineering/Medial students entire scheme is required to be scrapped. In 2004 there were not this many engineering colleges or Medical colleges in AP. YSR permitted hundreds of these “colleges” which does not have any basic infrastructure or teaching staff and pocketed the bribes. To ensure that these “colleges” get students the qualification marks in the entrance tests were reduced to 25%. With this huge number students who otherwise unfit to study the technical course in BE/BTech/MBBS/BDS joined in these courses in the “colleges”. They are mostly unemployable as of now. The yearly subsidy for these students is almost Rs. 50,000/- per student per year and the entire money is going into the pockets of “college” Managements.

Now the question is how to come out of this mess. First step is to increase the qualification marks for technical education to at least 65%. This will make the student intake in the courses having reasonable ability learn.  Second step to be stop fee reimbursement scheme on a time bound manner and spend the same amount of money is creating government colleges and universities. Admission in these institutions can be free for all the students. With almost Rs. 5,000 Cr. budget each year even if half of it is capital expenditure a huge number very high quality educational institutions as capital assets could have been created between 2004 to 2014 and free higher education could have been provided. Instead of that the entire money wasted on payments to useless colleges to create mostly unemployable graduates.

Even in the post division AP, with half the budget of Rs. 2,500 Cr, each year some 100 colleges/polytechnic institutions can be created with a capital expenditure of 25 Cr each. In 5 years these public colleges will be in a position to provide free and high quality education to all the qualified and deserving students. The public institutes thus created will be there for generations to come.  Yet no one is AP or T is going to this on these lines. With Narayana as a minister in his cabinet CBN will have no inclination to open government schools and colleges which will close Narayana education business?  It is this education business which failed to generate revenues by selling education which now drives the subsidy fee reimbursement scheme. In T state also huge opportunity to earn bribes will continue this subsidy.

The direct victims of this tragedy will be the students from backward communities, SCs and STs who will get some worthless degree and can never find a suitable job as they are not having any employable skills.

But who will understand this and who cares?

  

Return to arrogance and untrusting behaviour – Chandra Babu Naidu

Mr. Naidu did the right thing this time to join NDA for General Election 2014 or did he really? Naidu was forced to do get some support few weeks back as Jagan criminal gangs are threatening to sweep the seats in Costal Andra and Rayalaseema areas. With fear of losing looming large Naidu thought he will join with BJP.

This plan of joining with BJP this time around is an old one and his meeting with Naradra Modi before the division of Andra Pradesh State said to be the reason for forced division of the state by Sonia gang. But after division he sent mixed signals to BJP and in turn BJP have serious hints that it may negotiate with Jagan. This created panic in Naidu camp and a deal with huge confusion (created mainly by games played by Naidu) was finally done. Even after the deal Naidu insisting that BJP should put up “strong candidates” in the seats allotted to them. How Naidu can make such demands is not known. Now we see TDP also contesting the same seats allotted to BJP which is clearly a bitrail. This is not on. How you can allot seats to your alliance partner and then put up your party candidates in the same seats?

Another basic problem is Naidu is unwilling to accept that Modi is superior to him. For all his “High Tech CEO” image Naidu is nothing in comparison with Modi whose record in governance is much better.  Naidu could not stop Congress from coming back strongly to kick him out of power. His desperation to come back to power by joining with TRS ensured he lose the elections in 2009 also and Congress taking advantage of his two eyes theory divided AP. With such embarrassing record he still has guts to claim that he is the original CEO CM and Modi copied him.  His delusions, fears, manipulation ideas still playing active party. His failure to take everyone along with him – No seat to Hari Krishna, No scope for Jr NTR, No extension of friendly hand to Purandhareswari. In short nothing changed in Naidu. By marrying Balakrishna daughter with Lokesh he has ensured Balakrishna is with him. He thinks he do not need Hari Krishna and Jr NTR is a competition to his son Lokesh.  

Now it seems that he wants Modi should hold join meeting with him. BJP do not see any reason for it. Naidu is not a long standing ally like Akalies or Siva Sena. Further everyone in BJP knows the conduct of Naidu. They will not be so accommodating of Naidu this time around. The help given to Naidu during Atalji government during NDA rule is quickly forgotten by him but BJP clearly not forgotten the statement of Naidy that joining/supporting NDA was his biggest mistake. He also threatenged to withdraw support to BJP on 2002 riots and demanded that Modi be removed from the CM position. BJP simply ignored that demand. Now the world has come full circle.

With all this background, it seems that Naidu now confident that he will win in AP and does not need BJP support now. He already put up candidates in at least 3 MLA seats which were allotted to BJP and his “leaders” are making comments openly that BJP candidates are “weak” etc. Such insulting conduct by Telugu Desam people will not be taken lightly by BJP which is now confident under Modi leadership.

Yet Naidu pressing ahead with his games. We should now ask ourselves – Can he be trusted now?   

Elections of 2014 - Prospects of BJP.

At the outset, I must confess that I am BJP supporter having been in RSS from Childhood and worked for BJP during elections before becoming a public servant. So you may take my views as bias towards BJP. However, having worked in elections (which we used to lose regularly as BJP is very weak in AP), I think my estimates may be nearer to results.

First of all, most of the independent observers and record opponents agree that there is a Modi wave. I have first-hand information in the use of information technology by Modi supporters and his team, and it is perhaps the most detailed and systematic use of data anywhere in the world. May be Obama team did that. However, that team has to deal with a nation not even one present of Indian complexities. Sheet size of the voting population, different communities, regions, local variations etc. make the data creation, management and use a tough one and Modi team done admirably well. It also helps by the fact that BJP is a cadre-based party with workers of the party speeding out entire nation including in places like Kerala and northeast wherein political BJP is feeble. These workers in many cases are from Sangh Parivar and are trained in disciple and ideologically committed. The processed data was and is being put to good use in all the places by these workers. What Modi has done is to create the strong wind. If in a seat wherein party can raise the sail then the boat will move otherwise no. For this BJP intelligently allied with all kinds of smaller parties currently being ignored by other national groupings.

Even one MP seat capable parties were roped in. We can see the example at Maharastra. Past bad behaviour by people like Chandra Babu Naidu and Telugu Desam Party (whose workers even now say that Modi copied their leader and their leader is equal to Modi )  was forgiven to forge allegiance. Hard bargaining seems to be the norm in such cases and give and take to be the norm in case of parties like RPI (Atwale) and LJP which now appears to be moving under the son of Ram Vilas Paswan who has now spent much time without power and has little chance of a comeback.

Another aspect of the efforts is the unwavering and unrelenting effort by Modi himself who is continuously campaigning for almost a year now. This kind of energy could not a matched by anyone from Congress.  Projection on clear and strong leadership by Modi in a national election wherein Manmohan and Rahul type “leaders” presents a clear and better option for voters.

Media and perception Management was the weakest point of the BJP since inception. The English national media are anti-Hindu in its ideology and leftish in the economic outlook. Most of the “prominent” opinion makers persons be it TV, News Papers, Writers, Novelists, Film and Tv Movie personalities are all anti-Hindu in their worldly view. BJP as a Hindu party is always opposed by almost every one of them.  Congress, on the other hand, is a darling for all these people, and the party also provided these people be kept in good humour by all kinds of inducements, benefits, titles and outright payments in the form of liberal advertisements etc. This has converted most of the opinion makers into Courtiers of Congress. However, Modi after being on the receiving end of these opinion makers over a decade has now managed to communicate with people directly. Intelligent use of social media also helps him very much. Hard work in Gujarat State and his achievement and its results were adequately communicated to the voters across the length and breadth of the nation.  Most of the voters now see him as a capable, honest, hard-working administrator who has delivered in one state and capable of providing development and good governance at national level. By sticking to the message of development and good governance as the lead narrative with a little humour, direct and indirect attacks on the failed Congress rule, he could mobilise millions of votes for BJP. Now Media has to telecast him directly all the time because that is what gives them TRPs. He is the only topic of discussion everywhere. Almost everyone in the nation knows him like they know Indira Gandhi.

The effect of the first time and young voters are not factored in by Congress. They are completely ignored by Congress or they are just expected to fall in love with Rahul Gandhi. However, the problem with Rahul is his utter lack of capabilities, achievements, involvement. Further in today’s aspiration based world, he cannot full fill the expectations of these young voters. In fact, his advisors, most of whom have not exposure to and understanding of the real world, made him to speak about entitlement reservations, secularism, welfare, freebies. This failed to garner the support of the young voters. He is also could not explain the failure to create jobs for ten years, massive corruption, mis-governance of her mother’s rule. Congress simply expected the nation to fall on their keens and worship their Sahebzada. But this is not 1900s and nation has moved on from such ideas. Congress failed to move on with the nation.

The golden rule the opposition parties including BJP fallowed till now is not attacking the dynasty directly and personally. However, that rule is now irrevocably broken by Modi and his open ridiculing of Rahul resulting removing the halo around the heads of dynasty. Now even a D class Jihadi leader like Azam Khan can make a statement that Allah killed Rajiv and Sanjay Gandhi for their sins. Now Dynasty is fair game for all the political parties, and it is unaccustomed to face such attacks and is unable counter any of them. Many of the Congress leaders are confident they will not win this election. People like Chidambaram simply ran away from elections due to fear. The public posturing of their media representatives continues to amuse people.

One more this that is going to contribute the BJP win will develop its strategy of focusing on the selective seats where it can win. BJP is now focusing in 278 seats which it has won earlier and another 75 seats wherein it stood second place earlier. Since last few months, serious efforts are being made to win all these seats. Huge number of party workers is doing continuous work towards this. Technology-based micro management and the focusing of each polling booth under the plan - ‘Booth jito, chunav jito (win the booth and win elections) will play rich dividend.

On the other hand, Congress is still fighting an election with outdated methods and ideas. Its sloe idea now is Secularism can mobilize Muslim votes to some extent, but it will not mobilize vast Hindu votes. Further, it now has very negative connotations in Hindu mind. Hindus feel that they are being treated as second-class citizens by Congress which now headed by an Italian born Roman Catholic whose daughter also married a Christian.  Such civilisation disconnect with the Hindus is never helpful, and Congress never tried to dispel the ill felling many Hindus has towards it.  

Even up to the 2^nd half of 2013, Congress is faced with a disorganized weak and uninspiring BJP. However, it all changed with the arrival of Modi in the national stage, and Congress leaders surrounded to its courtiers’ failed to react. In fact, its simply do not have resources to fight a charismatic leader like Modi. Now it is staring at what could be its biggest defeat even and may not even reach a three-figure mark.

My calculation not based on any firsthand knowledge ( Except in UP wherein I have spoken with few prominent peoples families) and media reports and opinion polls is as below. Just back of the envelop kind of stuff and

BJP allies will add to 40 to 50 seats totally at the national level.

The least figure is too conservative and will be there if all things failed to click and BJP and Modi utterly fail to achieve even 25% of what they set out to achieve and this is too pessimistic projection unlikely to happen.    

However, as of now, Congress has already thrown the towel, and most of the voters believe that BJP will win the elections and Modi will form the government. Winnability feeling at national level always makes marginal seats winnable individually also because people like to vote for the winners. The discipline of RSS will ensure that the over confidence shown in 2004 is not there in 2014. So the final results will be very near to the maximum figure of 246 or just below that. Allies will add around 50, and flowers like TRS, DMK, AIDMK, Jagan, BJD and others will jump into supporting NDA – may be using colourful forages like issue-based support and all that.
